COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION
Course description: Participants learn to ask for what they want without fear or guilt, deepen connections with others, enhance long term relationships and heal painful ones. Students learn to speak and listen from the heart to address feelings and needs. Many students take the class several times and report new learning and insights. We will cover the basic foundations and principles of nonviolent communication as developed my Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D. that will include:

1. In person the office is now open for in-person assistance at the Wake and Schott Center Campuses. (Call office to confirm hours 805-683-8205)
2. Online: Two steps include Admission and Registration, if you are a new student. Returning students only need to register. Click here to access both. https://www.sbcc.edu/extendedlearning/application.php Download it, fill it out with your Student ID number and the CRN numbers of the classes you want to take. Save the form (before closing the PDF) and email it to: SELAdmissions@sbcc.edu. If you can’t do this on your computer, then print it and write it by hand. Use your phone to take photo and email it to: seladmissions@sbcc.edu
